Come and visit the Thiepval Franco-British Memorial, one of the major sites of WWI.
Close to it, is the Visitor Centre (free access), enjoy the souvenir shop (pins, poppies, books, keyrings... and services (toilets, coffee machines…).
At the Thiepval site museum, discover collections of artifacts, archaeological objects, multimedia tools, and a life-size replica of Georges Guynemer's airplane. The exceptional large mural (60 meters long), drawn by Joe Sacco, an American artist, provides an illustrated window into the battlefield of July 1, 1916.
Free access to the Visitor Centre and to the Memorial.
